"When we decided to move forward with our porch addition, a primary focus we had was a locally owned and trustworthy contractor to work with. HDC fit that perfectly. The design process was easy and they explained the entire process and the finer details (the why) when asked and made sure to keep me in the loop on what would be happening when.

Their employees and their subcontractors always made sure that the work was done the right way, not just the quickest. The quality of the addition speaks for itself, we wanted to make sure that it looked like it had always been there and they did just that. If they were not able to complete something in the allotted time, they found a way to get it done so it didn't hold up other steps in construction. They were transparent on the costs and made sure that we were making informed decisions on opportunities to improve the space and where we could save money in the budget. When transferring funds, our banker told us that after thousands of projects that he has transferred money for, this was the first he had ever seen that came in under budget. "We've completed two major renovations on our 1919 bungalow with Haver Construction and couldn’t be happier with the results. Six years ago, we renovated our tiny kitchen (last updated in the early 60s). Haver pushed the back of our house out, more than doubling the size of our kitchen. They also dug out additional basement and poured a new basement floor. It was a major project, involving plumbing and electrical modifications to bring the house up to today’s higher building codes. HDC worked with us step by step during the six-month long process."
